Deep Fruit and Veggie Juice blend
Posted: April 10, 2013 Filed under: Food and Drinks | Tags: Deep Foods, Fruit, India, Juice, Vegetable Leave a commentAnother one of those things that caught my eye in the Indian market. Even though BeetRoots and a carrot are featured on the front of the container, they aren’t the major ingredients. That goes to Pineapple (concentrate) and Orange Juice (concentrate), and water.
There are so many fruits and veggies in this blend…
- Pineapple
- Orange
- Mango
- Apricot
- Banana
- Passion Fruit
- Apple
- Guava
- Beet Root
- Carrot
- Cucumber
- Green Pepper
- Lime
- Onion
- Sauerkraut
- Celery
Thankfully it tasted alright. The onion sauerkraut, and green pepper did make me hesitate before taking my first sip. It was like fruit juice from concentrate with only hints of the other parts.

Quite different from the sweet banana chips I’m used to seeing.
Eggnog Tiramisu?
Posted: December 26, 2012 Filed under: Food and Drinks Leave a commentOver the holiday weekend I had the chance to try a variation on one of my favorite desserts. The Tiramisu. Swap out the cocoa topping with a eggnog flavored cream. The flavor/color is all that was really different. The textures and layers were still present and in line with Tiramisu.
Overall I still prefer the “classic” Tiramisu. Best to keep the eggnog in drink form and Tiramisu as itself.
Hope everyone had a great Christmas/ Holiday celebration.
Snacks from India: Plain Chakri
